Since 1990, BeneCent has delivered over 100,000 m² (one million sq. ft.) of agricultural buildings, including poultry houses, hatcheries, cold storage, horse stables, administrative buildings, residential units, workshops, and storage facilities. These structures continue to perform reliably with minimal maintenance, demonstrating the system’s long-term durability, operational efficiency, and suitability for intensive agricultural operations.

 

Unlike traditional sandwich-panel buildings, BeneCent structures use lightweight concrete for roofs and walls, which provide self-insulating thermal properties that do not degrade over time. Sandwich panels often lose insulation due to the foam's petrochemical properties, and the foam can be chewed by rats and birds, reducing energy efficiency and creating hygiene risks. BeneCent’s lightweight concrete maintains consistent heat insulation, ensuring a stable environment for livestock and produce.

 

The system also offers excellent acoustic insulation, reducing noise that can negatively impact productivity, particularly for egg-laying chickens. The curved roof design, combined with a high-quality waterproofing system, prevents water leakage onto floors—eliminating wet spots that could foster dangerous diseases, reduce poultry health, and threaten farm profitability.

 

BeneCent’s clear-span, durable construction enables rapid deployment of functional agricultural facilities, while flexible layouts support multiple uses on the same site. Hundreds of agricultural operations have been developed using BeneCent buildings, often with government support and generous loans, recognizing the system’s superior performance.

 

In one notable project, 10 existing chicken houses (2 × 14 m × 75 m / 46 ft × 246 ft) built with sandwich panels were replaced with BeneCent structures. The client reported improved insulation, reduced noise, enhanced hygiene, and higher operational efficiency, confirming the system’s superiority for poultry production.
